Requirement check

  • What does the check show?

For one school, round, and applicant condition, the check shows the facts a COMMIT reviewer verified against the school's official admissions page, quoted as the page words them, with a link to that page and the date it was last verified.

  • Why is a school not listed?

A school appears only after a COMMIT reviewer has approved its official admissions page and activated at least one dated fact for the current cycle. Until then, the check lists nothing rather than something unverified.

  • What if the result does not match the school's page?

Open “This does not match the page” under the quote and pick one of four reasons. A COMMIT reviewer reads the page again either way. Nothing you type is sent — there is no text box.

  • What is outside the check?

Recommendations, testing, essays, financial aid, interviews, portfolios, and housing are not part of this check.

Account

  • Who can create an account?

The minimum age follows your declared country of residence: 13 in the United States, 14 in Korea, and 16 elsewhere. An account is not activated below that age.

  • Why was I signed out on another device?

One person, one account. Stay signed in on up to two phones, two tablets, and two computers at once; signing in on a third of the same kind signs out the one used least recently.

Plans and billing

  • Is this a subscription?

No. Plus and Pro are one-time payments for six months of access during an application season. Nothing renews automatically.

  • Who can buy a plan?

The purchaser must be an adult, or a parent or legal guardian paying for a student. You confirm which applies at checkout.

  • What counts as a detailed school?

A detailed school is any school on your college list. Removing a school from the list frees its place.

Refunds

  • Can I get a refund?

Yes, within seven calendar days of payment, unless you have used an Essay AI feature on that plan (see below). Email support@commit.ac. The refund policy explains duplicate charges and service interruptions.

  • How do I request a refund?

    1. Email support@commit.ac from the address on your COMMIT account, or reply to the receipt Creem sent you. 2. Say which plan you bought and when; the receipt in Settings → Billing has the date and amount. 3. We respond within three business days. Creem, the merchant of record, issues the refund to your original payment method, and your bank controls when it posts. Do not send card numbers, identity documents, tax records, or other sensitive records.

  • When does the seven-day refund end early?

Once you use any Essay AI feature (essay review, feedback, or scoring) on the purchased plan, the seven-day refund right ends for that purchase. The workspace and its non-AI parts are on the free tier, so you can try COMMIT before you buy.

  • What happens to my plan after a refund?

A full refund ends the plan's access once Creem's signed refund event is processed. Duplicate, unauthorized, or unactivated payments, and long service outages, are covered in the refund policy at commit.ac/legal/refunds.

Privacy

  • Is my date of birth stored?

Exact birthdate is evaluated only in your browser. This self-declaration is not identity-backed age verification.

  • How do I ask about my data?

For access, correction, deletion, consent, or privacy questions, email support@commit.ac. Do not include Social Security numbers, tax forms, banking records, identity documents, or medical records in email.
