How to use the result

What the output is

The output places a school in a qualitative planning tier and identifies limited contributing factors, missing information, confidence, and next steps. It is intended to help a student organize a school list and questions for human review.

What the output is not

It is not a personal admission probability, odds estimate, guarantee, eligibility decision, college ranking, professional counseling opinion, or decision made for a school. It does not know institutional priorities, reader judgment, recommendation content, private school data, or every policy change.

Important limitations

• School data can be delayed, incomplete, aggregated, or changed after collection.
• User-provided grades, testing, activities, residency, and other inputs can be missing or incorrect.
• Small or shifting groups can make comparisons unreliable.
• A similar profile can receive a different real-world outcome for reasons the system cannot observe.
• A safety, data-quality, legal, security, or release-evidence failure disables the result instead of guessing.

Human review and correction

Review the underlying profile and school facts before acting. Correct inaccurate inputs, consult official college sources, and use a qualified counselor when the decision is consequential. An Admission tier should not be the sole reason to apply, not apply, spend money, or disclose sensitive information.

Data minimization

Do not enter Social Security numbers, tax forms, banking records, medical records, identity documents, protected-class information, essay text, or information you do not have permission to use. Public responses must not contain the model artifact or a numeric personal likelihood.
